My first blog.

My cat Sebastian has a blog which is understandable because Sebastian IS the centre of the universe (if you doubt that then you have never met him) and everyone must be interested in reading about him. This is Sebbie as my Ice Cat (4" x" watercolour pencil and ink). Sebbie has the most beautiful eyes in the world.

I have always resisted the idea of blogging. I am a private person - to the point if being secretive.
I find the apparently ubiquitous passion for publishing the details of one's life for strangers to read a little unsettling and somewhat confusing.

Having talked to other self-representing artists about promoting one's work I have come to the conclusion that blogging is inevitable. I have decided to write about temporal lobe epilepsy and my art. I will also be featuring the work of other self-representing artists whose work I admire and the work of artists who are involved with various animal rescue charities.
