Today I got a surprise gift from a friend. It couldn't have come at a better time.
My friend lives on the other side of the country. We used to be in regular contact via email and chat. I have found it very difficult for the last year or so to keep up contact with people - illness, responsibilities, mood swings etc. I am very, very pleased that she made contact again.
My friend TeAnne is a talented artist. I have a great collection of her Killer Teddy ACEO and ArtX2 paintings. I wish I could afford one of her larger works.
Have a look at her blog here:

About Temporal Lobe Epilepsy
From the Wikipedia
As Eve LaPlante discusses in her book, "Seized," the intense emotions, sensory experience including vibrancy of colors, and particular mental state provoked by temporal lobe abnormalities may have contributed to the creation of significant works of art. A number of well-known writers and artists are known, or in many cases suspected to have had temporal lobe epilepsy....

I thought a little serious content was in order so here is a link to a wikipedia article on TLE
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Temporal_lobe_epilepsy
Have a look it makes it easier to cope with people who have this problem (?) if you know something about it.

Progressing slowly

Haven't been in here to write for a while. Been feeling depressed and overwhelmed. So many things to do and so little energy to do them with.
Temporal Zone 1
This has been progressing though - slowly, very slowly.
I am enjoying painting/drawing it but it is difficult to concentrate so it is taking quite a while.
I am also working on another Spirit Cat ACEO - also very slowly, lol.
Tomorrow I have to try to get a least one of the hand made books and albums I am working on finish. I have very little work in the shop at Leura - not very smart at this time of year.
Spirit Cats
I have 3 Spirit Cat ACEOs for sale in my etsy shop (see link in side bar) at
the moment. I also have a 10% off sale on everything in the shop as part of the Pagans of Easty
geting to know you sale. I'm offering a discount also to anyone who buys all three Spirit cats listed to keep them together.Spirit Cat 1: ACEO 2.5" x 3.5" watercolour watercolour pencil and rapidigraph penon heavy weight smooth watercolour paper.

Spirit Cat 2: ACEO 2.5" x 3.5" watercolour, watercolour pencil and rapidigraph pen on heavy weight smooth watercolour paper.

Spirit Cat 3: ACEO 2.5" x 3.5" watercolour,watercolour pencil
on heavy weight smooth
watercolour paper.
Spirit Cat 4 is still on the drawing board. I hope to have it listed by mid week this week.
I have tried every way I can think of to improve this layout but unfortunately the preview doesn't really look exactly like the finished page so I have to leave it as it is.
